Our Board of Directors
The KLUB 2SLGBTQIA+ Community Centre is an incorporated not-for-profit dedicated to creating safer spaces for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and other underserved groups. Guided by principles of equity, diversity, and advocacy, our Board of Directors represents the vibrant communities we serve.
Our Board members bring unique lived experiences, professional expertise, and deep commitment to advancing our mission. From community advocacy and arts to social justice and education, each member contributes to shaping The KLUB’s vision and impact.

Caio, originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, moved to Canada in 2010 and has become a prominent advocate for anti-oppression and HIV/AIDS awareness. As a Queer Black individual with a background in paralegal studies and extensive experience in non-profit boards in both Toronto and Brazil, Caio brings a unique perspective and passion for social justice, particularly focusing on Black, Indigenous, People Living with HIV/AIDS, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Caio resides in Sault Ste. Marie with their husband and is dedicated to their role as Peer Engagement Coordinator at the Ontario Aboriginal HIV/AIDS Strategy (Oahas). Caio is currently The Klub’s Board Chair, and inquiries can be directed to them.
